OSHRM President's Message
Welcome!
OSRHM is the Oregon Chapter of ASHRM, the American Society for
Healthcare Risk Management. More information about ASHRM can be found at
their website: ashrm.org.
OSRHM provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information
relative to healthcare risk management issues. The Society also conducts
educational programs and activities to encourage and assist members to
increase their knowledge and skills in the profession of healthcare risk
management.
We need you. OSHRM is a success because you make it a success.
We want your ideas and enthusiasm and active participation. Attend
membership meetings. Suggest a topic or speaker for the annual conference.
Consider serving on a committee. Stay committed. Stay in touch. Help us
make this an even greater organization in the future.
Please mark your calendars and plan to join us at our membership
meetings for a delicious luncheon buffet, networking, and education.
These meetings are held the second Friday of every other month (specifically,
January, March, May, July, September, and November) beginning at 11:45 am and
ending by 2:00 pm. You will receive an email notification prior to each
membership meeting and are requested to RSVP so we can plan for lunch.
We charge $18 to help cover the cost of the meeting (luncheon buffet
and room charge). The meetings are generally held at the Oregon Medical
Association, 11740 SW 68th Parkway, Portland – right off of I-5 near Tigard.
The May membership meeting is actually a full day annual conference on the
2nd Friday in May. Please plan to attend, you won’t want to miss it.
We have a dynamic education committee that always puts together a wonderful
educational event.
